Going back in time, back to a time of dirt and powder, poshness and poverty, wigs and leeches... I could go on and on and on... I think you got it, or should I go on a bit more?
I think the time was well portrayed the acting was fantastic by the mad fake Mr Savage so I had a lot of fun, not the typical film I would watch, but definitely one to enjoy! A solid 2 for this!

ich bin ja eigentlich ein Fan von Period Dramas, und ich kann auch die Schauspielerei von Grant und Foy nicht kritisieren, aber irgendwie wurde ich mit „Savage House“ nicht warm, zu offensichtlich ist die Handlung von Minute Eins bis zum finalen Ende. Ich habe mich daher nach den ersten 20-30 Minuten hauptsächlich gelangweilt ob der Aktionen, mit denen die Savages sich mehr Geltung / Standing verschaffen wollten. Natürlich gab es auch keinen Charakter mit dem man sich auch nur im Entferntesten identifizieren konnte, und die Savages-Tochter tat mir einfach nur leid. Im Großen und Ganzen daher eine „4+“ von mir, wer mehr an Gefallen an Grants und Foys Schauspiel findet, kommt aber sicherlich zu einer besseren Bewertung.
