#1409 The Fabelmans

Beitrag von Kasi Mir »

Steven Spielberg may be one of the most famous directors alive, but he is no frequent Sneak visitor; in fact, it took until 2018's #1205 "The Post" for our sneak to feature a film directed by him - which was then closely followed by #1211 "Ready Player One". This year's Oscar contender "The Fabelmans" may be Spielbergs most personal film to date (though some would argue that honor should belong to "E.T."), as the screenplay - co-written by himself and frequent collaborator Tony Kushner ("Munich", "Lincoln") - is loosely based on hin own childhood. Here's what that looks like:

And how did you enjoy the narrative of this new #14 on the "longest sneak movies of all time" list - one minute longer than #0709 "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian", one minute shorter than #1295 "Ford v Ferrari"? How did you like the oscar-nominated performances of Michelle Williams as mother Mitzi and Judd Hirsch as Uncle Boris? How about the other actors? Let us know what you thought of "The Fablemans" in a reply to this posting.
