#1360 Boonie Bears: The Wild Life

Beitrag von Kasi Mir »

The "Boonie Bears" originated as a chinese TV series for children which from 2012 to today has produced more than 600 episodes of zany adventures featuring bears Briar and Bramble, Logger-turned-Tourguide Nick and their friends, all around ten minutes long. Since 2014, studio Fantawild also produced feature-length tales of the "Boonie Bears" - so "The Wild Life" is not their first foray into longform animation, it's actually their seventh movie, with an eighth one called "Back to Earth" already released last month in China. Those movies have totaled in more than 650 Million Dollars at the box office, though most of the revenue comes from mainland China itself. "The Wild Life" is actually only the second "Boonie Bears" adventure to get a German theatrical release.

Here's the trailer:

And how did you like the film, for which we probably weren't the target audience? How did you enjoy the colorful and dynamic animations, the at times very animated voices and the, um, storytelling of the film? Let us know what you thought of "Boonie Bears: The Wild Life" in a reply to this post - and of course vote on the home page if you haven't done so in person.

Also ohne weitere Worte in alberner Stimme: 5-.
