#1340 June Again

Beitrag von Kasi Mir »

Those with good eyesight - and a decent memory might have had the feeling that they've seen Noni Hazlehurst - lead actess of "June Again" before. If fact, Ms Hazlehurst has a small but pivotal role in our first sneak film this year, #1322 "Long Story Short", where she explained the ins and outs of the "time-travel" at a cemetery. "June Again" is the first long-form film by writer/director JJ Winlove, who previously specialized in short films both a separate entities and as part of an anthonolgy. Here's the trailer:

And how did you like the film, not the first one in our sneak history which dealt with alzheimer/dementia sort of illnesses - though this film took a more lighthearted route than e.g. #1050 "Still Alice" . How did you enjoy the performances by Miss Hazlehurst as June, but also by Claudia Karvan as daughter Ginny and Stephen Curry as son Dev? Let us know what you thought about the film - that won't be released in Germany for more than three months (current release date: Feb17, 2022) - in a reply to this post.
